Isle of Skye Restaurant for Seafood, Local Produce and a Slower Pace
If you’re looking for an Isle of Skye restaurant away from the rush of Portree, Greshornish House is one of the few local restaurants in Skye set directly on the water’s edge, where the food reflects the surrounding landscape. Our menu changes with the season and the catch, focusing on Isle of Skye seafood, shellfish from nearby waters, and carefully sourced Highland meat.
When the boats bring it in, we serve lobster caught in Loch Greshornish itself — a rare treat best enjoyed with a glass of wine and time to spare.
Dinner here is unhurried, the atmosphere informal and perfect for a romantic meal. Guests often linger in the lounge with a drink before or after their meal, watching the light shift across the loch.
Skye Restaurant Dinner Service

Expect fresh fish, well-sourced meat, and thoughtful vegetarian dishes — all prepared to order. Dinner is served all year, and we can cater for most dietary needs with notice.
