Rum four poster bed

Rum is a spacious grandiose north-facing room recently re-decorated (awaiting new photos). Originally the Music Room, it still retains its original marble fireplace which is now fitted with an open coal effect fire providing a warming glow on a winter's evening..

Rum makes an ideal base for a number of different purposes. It offers not only a comfortable four-poster bed (5' x 6'3") but also a large seating area with shaggy SkyeSkyns fleece, so you can relax without interruption from all the other goings-on in the house.

For parents travelling with younger children, the room is large enough to accommodate a pair of 3' x 6'3" beds and/or cot. For parents with teenage youngsters, Rum is situated immediately across the corridor from Canna, a classic double/twin room. If you are bringing your dog, it can also be accommodated in Rum - preferably in a kennel-cage - but please tell us at the time of booking.

From the two windows of the main room you can look north over to the old walled garden to the hills of the Greshornish peninsula beyond.

Rum has an en-suite bathroom, which, although small in comparison with the main bedroom, is well equipped with a full sized bath and separate large shower.
